Office Update - COVID-19

Statement from Philip Templeton, Director of PTA Architecture:

Due to the current challenging times due to the outbreak of COVID-19, PTA is taking steps to ensure the safety of both staff and clients.

We understand that the industry will feel the economic effects of this pandemic and we will endeavour to work cooperatively with all affected parties to ensure business can continue as per normal.

We have instructed our staff that site visits must be kept to a minimum for the foreseeable future, especially to aged care facilities. Where possible, we will conduct meetings via phone or video calls to minimise unnecessary contact.

Staff have also been instructed to monitor their health and to stay home if there are any concerns over contracting or spreading the virus. Our staff have the capabilities to work from home if need be on our current projects, which will ensure minimal delays.

We have also implemented additional hygiene practices within our office, such as:
• Increased frequency of hand washing
• Disinfecting surfaces
• Providing hand sanitizer
• Reduction of air conditioning use

Our team is informed and are being diligent regarding the spread of COVID-19 and we want to reassure all parties whom we interact with that we will continue to do everything we can to remain safe and operational.
